I would like to share an unique expression of attitude change, that will attract success in more ways that one; that I read some-where, long time ago, perhaps written by a successful business-cum-techie wiz kid:
Engage in activities that keep you on the cutting edge of your own expertise and develop new capabilities as appropriate.
Be proactive and intentional in developing, maintaining and leveraging relationships around you. As a result, you, as a high performer, will be able to tap in to others for information more efficiently, and other people will bring opportunities to you more frequently.
Finally, be adept at maintaining a"Good enough" information environment that enables you to fluidly juggle information and priorities.
Each of us have the capability to write better scripts like the above, the question is how many would be willing to direct the energies and practice the above - and the answer is very few and hence you have only one Bill Gate, One Steve Job and One Warren buffet and evidently they are NOT available for mass replication. Do you want to prove this wrong ! then you must go ahead.
